Participant Information

Qualification for Championships singles and team events is through NCTTA League play leading to one of six NCTTA Regional Championships. Individuals and teams that have been extended an official invitation to participate in the Championships can register for the event and make travel/lodging arrangements using the information below.

Hotel

The Championships tournament hotels are Holiday Inn Rockford and Embassy Suites Rockford Riverfront. The Holiday Inn Rockford is located about 20 minutes from the UW Health Sports Factory (competition facility) and offers comfortably appointed guest rooms. Holiday Inn Rockford hotel is offering discounted rates for all of the tournament participants. Embassy Suites is walking distance from the venue, but it does not currently offer a tournament rate, teams can save money on transportation. Travel

Athletes participating in Singles/doubles events are suggested to book tickets departing after 7:00pm from local airports on Sunday April 12th

• Chicago Rockford International Airport is located in Rockford and has flights from Allegiant and Sun Country
• Milwaukee Mitchell Airport is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and has various flights and is just 1 hour and 20 minutes from Rockford, IL
• Chicago O'Hare International Airport is located just 58 minutes from Rockford, IL a shuttle bus would be required however or rental car to commute after landing in ORD; Val Galder Bus company (Coach USA) offers 18 daily shuttles from O'Hare to Rockford. Van Galder bus drops off 11 min walk from the Holiday Inn Rockford (1 of the Championship hotels)

Athletes will need to arrange their own transportation to and from tournament hotel and area airports. Ground Transportation is available at both RFD (Rockford Airport) and ORD (O'Hare International Airport) with a myriad of different options:

It is suggested that athletes rent a car locally or at the airport they fly into. No tournament transportation will be provided.

Important Dates

Singles Registration

Singles qualification is through the singles competition at the NCTTA Regional Championships. Qualification follows Sections 7.3 (National Championships Regulations) of the 2025-2026 Rules and Regulations. Invited qualifiers can register for the Championships by completing the following steps:

1. Complete the online Singles Registration on NCTTA.app by the appropriate deadline (see below).
2. Look out for an email to DocuSign player registration waiver.
3. Be sure you have a team/school uniform. Uniforms are required even for singles competition.

Deadlines and Fees:

PEAKAPONG

Register for Peakapong through the invitation email sent to all Peakapong qualifiers.
Registration will open starting on March 9th 8AM ET and will run until March 16th 11:59PM ET. The entry fee for Peakapong is $30 per player.

The NCTTA Championships Peakapong event will occur on Sunday April 12, 2026, between 12:30-3:30pm. Please note this event specifically takes places during the Men's/Women's Singles knockout/consolation rounds. You CANNOT play both.

Doubles Registration

Doubles registration is open to players that have already qualified for the Championships in either the singles or team event. Both players on a doubles team must represent the same school. The top 32 men's doubles teams and top 16 women's doubles teams entered by the registration deadline will be selected to compete in the Men's and Women's Doubles events. (Any doubles teams not selected will have their entry fee refunded at that time). See Section 7.4 of the NCTTA Rules and Regulations for more details on the doubles qualification process. To register for the Men's or Women's doubles event, please complete the following steps:

1. Complete the online Doubles Registration on NCTTA.app by the appropriate deadline (see below).
2. Be sure you have a team/school uniform. Both members of the doubles team must wear matching shirts during the doubles competition.

Deadlines and Fees:

Team Registration

Championships qualification and competition follow Sections 7.2 and 7.6 (National Championships Regulations) of the 2025-2026 Rules and Regulations. Please read this document to understand the basic rules governing the event. Invited men's/coed and women's teams may register for the Championships by completing the following steps:

1. Complete the online Team Registration on NCTTA.app by the appropriate deadline (see below).
2. Send your team photo to championships@nctta.org by March 13, 2026
3. Have each team member look out for an email to DocuSign player registration waiver.
4. Be sure each team member has a team/school uniform. All uniforms should be identical.
5. (Optional) Bring two team signs for the team scoreboards. Team signs should be tabloid size (11 x 17 inches), laminated, and the main color must not be white. NCTTA will have plain signs for each team, but you are invited to bring your own, stylized with your school logos. Your school name should be easily identifiable when looking at the sign.

Deadlines and Fees:

Additional Coaches, Managers, or Chaperones

In the event an additional coach, manager, or chaperone will be attending the Championships with a team or a singles player the cost is $200 per person. Each coach registration includes the following:

• Credential for access to the competition venue throughout the Championships
• Ticket to the Tournament Party

Schools sometimes only bring a single player to participate in singles/doubles without the rest of their school team. This coach, manager, chaperone should they attend the championships with said player will cost $75 per person. Each coach registration includes the following:

• Credential for access to the competition venue throughout the Championships
• Ticket to the Tournament Party

Add an additional person for the Championships by completing the following steps:

1. Complete the online Additional Coach Registration on NCTTA.app by the deadline March 13, 2026.
